Van-Adam Pierre, also known by his stage name, Kidd Adamz, is a Haitian-American Rap artist, record producer, & songwriter hailing from the Scott Lake neighborhood of Carol City in Miami, Florida.

Embedded in music, Kidd's mother was a singer and his father played the drums & bass guitar in a local Church band. Around the age of 12 is when Kidd knew & decided music would be his lifelong dream.

Kidd sites Miami legends Trick Daddy, Rick Ross & JT Money as a few local musical influences growing up. He's collaborated with several artists along the journey; from those high on the rise to those still trying to get their feet wet. It's one of his bright spots as a creative to be able to work with talent regardless of actual experience in the field.

Collaborations with decorated South Florida MCs & musicians like Gunplay, Lunchmoney Lewis, Billy Blue, Jimmy Dade, Hayze2150, Yung Simmie, Rippa DeLaHoya, Prez P, Kiddo Marv, The Hood Brat (formerly known as Nenah Blaque of The Stepsisters) & Cris Cab as well as prominent names in music production like Kato the Producer, Audio Jones, Stan Lane, Play Picasso, DJ Burn One, & well-renowned Algerian-French artist-producer DJ Kore have fortifed a structered aura for Kidd, showing growth in addition to consistent, tasteful music. He produces under the moniker "bitchigotdadank", a sobriquet for the self-acclaimed high level of production talent he seems to possess.

Returning to the music scene yet again after the successful “HIPPIE THUGGIN 2” album released earlier in the year, Kidd brings forth a late-in-the-year nuanced mixtape unlike others for listeners.

Continuing to set the edge for the Hip-Hop/Rap industry, he still indistinguishably provides cues of his current way of life. With most of these records calmly hibernating in the vault it seemed to have been time to release them.

What may draw listeners in will be the change in sound & style as opposed to previous music projects. He alchemically switches the tone into something yet to be heard from the growing artist to further ascend himself past his previous successes & music pieces many considered fan favorites. Thus, demonstrating the ability to grow & perfect his work ethic , craft, & skills beyond the boundaries of time.

This might be one of the best works in the catalog, completing a masterpiece-like project at a mere 8 records only lasting close to 25 minutes but the replay value seems to be imminent, apparent & perhaps earned. 2024 has been a wishful year for the Kidd. While simultaneously dropping consistent EPs (disguised as SoundCloud playlists) he’s also been all-in & continues to release full-length music albums.

The catch to these albums, however, seems to be the fact that every song selected has been hidden deep in the archives for well over the greater span of four years. As some would say these records are “collecting dust”, the Kidd likes to look at his music as aging wine, only getting better with time.

Continuing to brand himself as the self-acclaimed “Hippie Thug”, he greets us with the 2nd installment to a very productive series. “Hippie Thuggin 2” (formerly titled The Hippie Thug 2), the continuous cultivation of the blood, swear, & tears that is put into the creation of the sound over the periods of time that has passed, one day becoming a history we never knew existed.

Kidd has always been a savant for passion & devotion in his own unorthodox way. His unnatural approach to love, loyalty, & commitment has landed him in a plethora of complicated situationships that would have had potential to blossom into something fruitful if given the proper room for growth.

Natural charisma will give you plenty of opportunities at more-than-worthwhile love interests yet the blissful freedom of non-commitment seems to have a far more impact in his young life than the building of a solid foundation, as portrayed in “Homiez” & “Been A While”.

He returns to music nearly a year after releasing his 2022 EP “KIDDS BOP”, taking the time off to learn, grow, & transform. Although he’s released tunes in the earlier half 2023 under the newly-created “HRT•BRK Academy” umbrella, there has been no room for growth or sense of musical urgency from him as of late.

The 5-track effort seems to touch base with a different side of himself as he asserts new flows & melodies. Taking a different approach from previous projects, the new music takes an extreme step towards the self-acclaimed "Heartbreak Kidd" mentality he affirms.
