Kiki

Akilah aka Kiki is an Ignyte nominated Jamaican freelance media critic, beta reader, and bookstagrammer living in the shark's mouth. Her literary writing is in Strange Horizons, Bad Form Review, The Book Slut, Rebel Women Lit Magazine, Moko Magazine, Inklette Magazine, Intersect Antigua's Caribbean Feminist Stories: Vol 1, The Quarterly Conversation, and the Jamaica Gleaner. Her film writing is in Flick Magazine and the anthology Divergent Terror: The Crossroads of Queerness and Horror (Off Limits Press). She is a guest interviewer for the NGC Bocas Lit Fest Bios & Bookmarks interview series.


Her current literary preoccupations are literary fiction, poetry, science fiction and fantasy, and nonfiction with a focus on anything queer and Caribbean. Her recent film slate is horrific and queer.
