A percussionist and producer hailing from one of the most rhythmically rich cities in the world Salvador da Bahia, Brazil. I began my musical journey in the vibrant percussion groups of Bahia and eventually became a professional musician, sharing the stage with world-renowned artists such as Gilberto Gil, Carlinhos Brown, Jaques Morelenbaum, Andrea Motis, Javier Juibal, Margareth Menezes, David Freeman, Alex Acuña, Omar Sosa, Carlos Nuñez, and Afrosideral, to name a few.

In 2005, I moved to Barcelona with the goal of expanding my musical horizons and bringing the lesser-known yet powerful Afro-Brazilian rhythms to European musicians and audiences. Over the years, I have had the privilege of continuing my work as a freelance musician, collaborating with some of the greatest talents worldwide, both on stage and in the studio. My studio work spans a range of international projects, allowing me to contribute to diverse musical styles and genres across the globe.
